The Lotus Foundations applicance features Integrated Disk-Backup (IDB), a reliable, integrated disk-based backup technology. It provides continual data protection through incremental, automated backups as often as every 15 minutes. The IDB drives are removable and leveraging of primary and secondary drives ensures that a backup copy of your data is always available.

No tapes, no wires, no cables, no maintenance, cleaning, or administration. Lotus Foundations' backup technology uses industry-standard hard disk drives for backup media. The speed and capacity is the same as a hard disk drive, which enables automatic, continuous incremental data backups which can run as often as every 15 minutes.

The low-touch backup facility enables you to confidently make backup copies of your information, anyone can manage backups which are automated and unattended. They can also be prioritized, ensuring focus on your most important information and minimizing the risk of loss of company data.
